I’m Aimee Schwinabart and I’ll be your guide along your new fitness journey. Over the past decade I’ve helped countless people fall in love with taking great care of their bodies—though my gym Studio A: Elite Fitness & Personal Training and workshops in the Washington D.C. area.
I’m a wife and the mother of two teen girls. And in a former life, I was a fitness model and fitness competition champion. Nowadays, I enjoy helping people fall in love with taking great care of their bodies.
Of course I want you to look great but you know what I want even more? I want you to feel energized and optimistic in a strong, lean body that empowers you to live with joy!

Before The Purely Fit, I tried many things: kickboxing bootcamps, gym memberships, DVD’s, running, and much more. I always started with enthusiasm but after the first month got pretty bored because the effort didn’t seem to correspond with the results.
I’m a busy business owner (who sits a lot during my work day). I need to get the MOST out of my workout time so I can get back to my life (I’m also a mom and wife).
My Purely Fit exercise plan takes about a half-hour and I can do the workouts anywhere. This means I have no excuses to fall back on. I don’t get bored because every day is different and each month I change to a new workout. What’s more? I feel mentally, emotionally, and physically on top of the world when I’m done with my daily sweat!
Aimee calculated macros for my personal fitness goals and she offers excellent recipes and resources to help shed fat and build muscle. I’m nearly 50 and I must say (even though I wasn’t totally perfect with my eating), I’m really happy with my four-week results (everything is slimming out and I actually have abs coming in)!
